Ro København
A complete digital ecosystem for a private members club at the intersection of wellness, hospitality, and spatial culture.
A private members club operating at the intersection of wellness, hospitality, and spatial culture in Copenhagen's Indre By district.
Four floors of an 1870s merchant's house, reduced to their essentials. Lime plaster, oiled oak, stone, water, and the northern light that arrives late and leaves slowly.
The audience: design-conscious professionals with high aesthetic sensitivity and low tolerance for digital noise.
The brief required a system that felt operationally mature and commercially credible, a calm hospitality infrastructure rather than a wellness product.
The difference matters: wellness products perform health. This space practices it. The digital system had to carry that distinction without explaining it.
The system covers the full membership journey, from atmospheric arrival through programming, membership tiers, and application flow, with a mobile-primary behavioral layer built for member retention, not just acquisition.
The visual system resolved as a hybrid serif/grotesque identity on a warm paper white ground, with a deep graphite register shift at conversion moments. Distinct from the studio's prior hospitality work in both typographic voice and compositional grammar.
The mobile-primary decision was structural, not responsive.
The members club's primary relationship with its digital system happens in the pocket, not at a desk. The architecture was designed for that context from the beginning, not adapted to it.
If your project would benefit from a system rather than a service, we should talk.
